Yasmin AlBazzaz, Partner, is responsible for providing research and administrative support to the Chairman, in addition to working closely with management to administer day-to-day and long-term internal operations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. AlBazzaz served as a legislative intern in the offices of both Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA) and Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL). Her experiences included drafting constituent correspondence conveying the Members’ positions on a broad range of legislative issues, compiling and maintaining detailed logs of press coverage, and working with staff to execute both Members’ legislative initiatives and priorities. Ms. AlBazzaz previously interned at Ashoka, a non-profit organization, where she facilitated the re-design and launch of the organization’s publication, as well as the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia.
A native of Washington D.C., Ms. AlBazzaz attended Washington International School, where she became fluent in French while attaining the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Ms. AlBazzaz holds a B.A. in Economics and Sociology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
