Paige Mellerio, Associate, works on behalf of both public and private sector clients, and provides both legislative and administrative support to the firm’s President & Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, Ms. Mellerio works on a wide variety of legislative and regulatory matters of importance to the firm’s municipal and public body practice including issues related to education and workforce development, transportation and infrastructure, and energy and the environment.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mellerio served as a legislative intern in the office of Congressman Donald Beyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. Her experiences included drafting constituent correspondence conveying the Member’s position on a broad range of legislative issues, and working with staff to execute his legislative initiatives and priorities.
Ms. Mellerio, a native of Washington D.C., graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant for the Department of Political Science with a concentration on congressional capacity, interest groups, and the governmental relations industry.
